In our hand-building classes, you'll learn techniques such as pinching, coil building, and slab construction, each offering unique creative possibilities. Whether you're a first-timer or returning to clay, hand-building is a relaxing, rewarding way to explore your creativity and craft something truly one-of-a-kind.

Pottery WheelThis is Ken’s specialty!  After a brief demo, you get to spend some time making a piece of pottery on the wheel with guided instructions.

Wheel - throwing

This is Ken’s specialty! Wheel throwing is the art of shaping clay on a spinning pottery wheel. With guidance and practice, you'll learn how to center the clay and use your hands to form it into symmetrical, functional pieces—like bowls, cups, and vases.It’s a hands-on, immersive experience that’s both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Whether you're new to the wheel or looking to refine your technique, we’re here to help you grow your skills and enjoy the process.

Amazing GlazingFrom napkin holders, cups, vases, and spoon rests, we have several colors to choose from for you to create a piece glazed by you!

Glaze is a special liquid coating that, when fired in the kiln, transforms into a smooth, glass-like surface that adds color, texture, and durability to your pottery. In our studio, we offer a variety of glaze colors and application techniques so you can personalize your piece to match your style. Whether you prefer bold and vibrant or soft and earthy, glazing brings your creation to life in a beautiful and functional way.
